In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic demonstrated just how quickly an unexpected event could disrupt operations, impact personnel, strain resources, and challenge even well-established organizations. It reinforced a lesson we had seen throughout military, government, security, and business environments: readiness matters, vulnerabilities matter, and preparation matters.
